PRINCE GEORGES CULTURAL ARTS FOUNDATION

The Prince Georges’s Cultural Arts Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit volunteer-led, mission-driven organization created exclusively to promote educational, cultural, recreational and other charitable activities in Prince George’s County, Maryland and surrounding areas. The foundation promotes the cultural arts through music, drama, the fine arts, entertainment, and other charitable activities.

The cornerstone fundraising event of the Prince George’s Cultural Arts Foundation is the annual Lake Arbor Jazz Festival, a five-day music event showcasing nationally recognized jazz artists and some of the top jazz and R&B musicians from the greater Washington DC and Baltimore areas. The festival draws a diverse audience of over 10,000 jazz lovers from across the region.

Proceeds from the festival support the Prince George’s Cultural Arts Foundation’s Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for books, tuition, room and board, to deserving college-bound students seeking to continue their education at a four-year college or university.
