The real power of jazz is that a group of musicians can come together and create art with each other. In episode 3 of the Listening Room, we continue to celebrate the Legends of Jazz featuring contemporary smooth jazz greats Alex Bugnon, Willie Bradley, Art Sherrod, Jr., and Gerald Veasley. These musicians will close out our jazz series of The Listening Room, paying tribute to the legends of jazz.

The 2nd episode of the Listening Room celebrates the Legends of Jazz. To name a few we celebrate Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane and Charles Mingus. Kicking off the jazz series, we feature Elijah & The Fixins, students studying music at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, DMV favorite Phaze II Band and Saxman Brian Lenair featuring trumpeter Freddie Dunn. These talented musicians will pay tribute, in their own way, to the legends of jazz.
