How can I request a refund?
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this incredibly turbulent time in our world. There is no higher priority to our entire Lake Arbor Jazz Festival Family than your health and safety. We have been monitoring and reviewing the information that is being released by the State of Maryland, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO) to stay on top of this evolving.
Due to the negative outlook of COVID-19 and the impact that the virus is having on festivals and large events this summer, we are postponing the 2020 Lake Arbor Jazz Festival until July 8-11, 2021. All current show tickets will be honored in 2021. However, if you prefer, we will offer a full refund of your 2020 festival ticket (excluding processing fees) if requested by May 30, 2020, no questions asked. You can aso make a donation the the Prince Georges Cultural Arts Foundation to support our Scholarship Fund and Cultural Arts Program.

Is there a cost to attend the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival?
Admission to the 2019 Festival is $35.00/person in advance; $45.00 on-site. Children under 12 will be admitted for free. All tickets are non-refundable. All tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are also available for other Festival events including the Pre-Festival Jam Session, VIP Summer White Affair & Saturday Festival, Sunday Jazz Brunch and the Grand Finale All-Star Jam Session. What are the seating arrangements?
Both General Admission and Reserved Seating are available for the 2019 Festival.
General admission tickets are available at the cost of $35.00/person. Tickets will be $45.00 per person on-site on the day of the event. On-site tickets may be purchased using cash or credit/debit cards. Children under 12 will be admitted for free.
General Admission tickets require that you bring your own seating. Please note that table-mounted umbrellas are not permitted. Chair mounted umbrellas are permissible however umbrellas that obstruct the view of other Festival goers are prohibited and must be removed upon request of Festival management.
General Admission seating is available for the Pre-Festival Jam Session and the Grand Finale All-Star Jam Session. Both General and Reserved seating are available for the VIP Summer White Affair, Saturday’s Festival, Sunday Inspirational Jazz Experience. Please visit the Festival Events page for more details.
Can I bring coolers, food, or beverage?
You will NOT be allowed to bring food, beverages, or coolers into the event. No alcoholic beverages can be brought on site to any Festival events however beer and wine will be available for sale and must be consumed in the Festival’s designated area. A variety of food and other beverages will be on sale at the event. Please note that ALL bags brought on to the Festival grounds may be subject to search by Prince Georges County Police and/or Maryland Park Rangers.
Can I bring my tent to the festival?
Personal tents are not allowed on the festival grounds. However, we have created a new general admission ticket category that gives you access to a private tent. General admission for groups of 10 to the festival grounds with exclusive use of one 10 x 10 frame tent provided by LAJF in the designated tent area. Private tent area is located at the rear of festival viewing area. Bring your lawn chairs and now you can leave your umbrellas and large canopies at home. Gather your family and friends and enjoy your private covered tent. Tickets are non-refundable. Lawn chairs are not provided.
How much is parking?
Parking is free and available adjacent to the Festival grounds. Additional remote parking is available at 9500 Arena Drive and 9701 Mercantile Lane in Largo, MD (5 minutes from Festival site) and the Lake Arbor Foundation Center. Shuttle service to the venue will be available free of charge.
I'm coming from out of town. What hotels are close to the Festival grounds?
What happens if it rains?
All events are indoors with the exception of Saturday’s Lake Arbor Jazz Festival. The Festival is an outdoor event. All artists are scheduled to perform “rain, or shine” unless weather conditions make doing so unsafe. No refunds will be issued if inclement weather occurs.
Are umbrellas permitted?
Small umbrellas and hats are permitted in case of showers. Festival Management reserves the right to ask attendees to lower or remove their umbrellas if they are obstructing the view of other Festival patrons.
Are pets allowed?
No pets are allowed other than service animals.
Are ATM’s available at the event?
ATMs are also available at Bank of America on Lake Arbor Way between Landover Road and Campus Way North with a drive through ATM and an ATM in the lobby.
In addition to the music, what activities will be at the event?
Food & Beverages: A variety of food and beverages will be for sale including hot dogs and hamburgers, soul food, etc.
Beverages: Both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (beer and wine only) will be sold on site. Cocktails, beer, wine and sodas will be available for purchase at the Pre-Festival Jam Session, VIP Summer White Affair, Saturday’s Festival, Sunday Inspirational Jazz Experience and the Grand Final All-Star Jam Session.
Marketplace: Vendors will have merchandise for sale at Saturday’s Festival including jewelry, arts & crafts, books/CD’s, T-shirts, souvenir items and gifts.
How will I know what time each performer will be on stage?

Is the event wheelchair-accessible?
All areas of the festival that are accessible to the public are wheelchair accessible. These include parking, seating, concessions and the marketplace.
Can I record the festival and/or bring recording devices?
No camcorders or other video recording devices are permitted.
