Is there a cost to attend?

General Admission to the 2023 Outdoor Festival is $75.00/person in advance. Tickets will be $95.00 per person on-site on the day of the event. On-site tickets may be purchased using cash or credit/debit cards. VIP tent tickets to the 2023 Outdoor Festival are $145.00/person.

All tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are also available for other Festival events including the VIP Unplugged Reception, Celebrity Golf Outing, Pre-Festival Concert, Summer White Affair, Sunday Jazz Brunch and After Festival Jam. See the Festival Events page for more details.

What are the seating arrangements?

General Admission tickets require that you bring your own seating. Please note that table-mounted umbrellas are not permitted. Chair mounted umbrellas are permissible however umbrellas that obstruct the view of other Festival goers are prohibited and must be removed upon request of Festival management.

General Admission seating is available for the VIP Unplugged Reception. Reserved seating is available for the Pre-Festival Concert, Summer White Affair and the Sunday Jazz Brunch. Please visit the Festival Events page for more details.

Can I bring coolers, food, or beverage?

You will NOT be allowed to bring large coolers into the event. Small coolers and unsealed bottles of water are allowed. No alcoholic beverages can be brought on-site to any Festival events however beer and wine will be available for sale. Please note that ALL bags brought on to the Festival grounds may be subject to search by Prince George’s County Police and/or Maryland Park Rangers.

Can I bring my tent to the festival?

Personal tents or canopies are NOT allowed on the festival grounds. A limited number of private 10×10 group tents are available for purchase in the private group tent area in the rear of the festival viewing area.

Enjoy a private exclusive 10 x10 tent for 8 people in the reserved center rear of the festival viewing area on Saturday. The tent includes admission for eight (8) people, reserved seating with eight (8) chairs for your guests, and one (1) 1 table setting. Each private tent also includes one (1) cooler with a case of water, assorted snacks, and a beverage bucket that includes a bottle of cabernet, a bottle of Chardonnay, and a bottle of champagne.

How much is parking?

Parking is free and available adjacent to the Festival grounds. Shuttle service to the venue will be available free of charge.

Parking is also free and available adjacent to the Center for Performing Arts at Prince George’s Community Center.

MGM National Harbor offers free and available parking in the MGM Casino Parking garage. Valet parking is available at the front of the Hotel for a charge of $25.00

I'm coming from out of town. What hotels are close to the Festival grounds?

The host Hotel is MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino which will host the Summer White Affair and the Sunday Jazz Brunch. The are several other hotels in the National Harbor resort area including the Gaylord Hotel, the Hyatt Place, the Westin Hotel, and the AC Hotel.

There are several hotels within 5 miles of the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival grounds including the Residence Inn and Suites, Courtyard Marriott, Doubletree Hotel, Homewood Suites and the Hampton Inn and Suites. Our host hotels are the Homewood Suites and the Hampton Inn and Suites.

What happens if it rains?

All events are indoors with the exception of Saturday’s Lake Arbor Jazz Festival. The Festival is an outdoor event. All artists are scheduled to perform “rain, or shine” unless weather conditions make doing so unsafe. No refunds will be issued if inclement weather occurs.

Are umbrellas permitted?

Small umbrellas and hats are permitted in case of showers. Festival Management reserves the right to ask attendees to lower or remove their umbrellas if they are obstructing the view of other Festival patrons.

Are pets allowed?

No pets are allowed other than service animals.

Are ATM’s available at the event?

ATMs are also available at Bank of America on Lake Arbor Way between Landover Road and Campus Way North with a drive through ATM and an ATM in the lobby.

In addition to the music, what activities will be at the event?

Food & Beverages: A variety of food and beverages will be for sale during the festival.

Beverages: Both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (beer and wine only) will be sold on-site at the Saturday Festival. Cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the Pre-Festival Concert and VIP Summer White Affair and Sunday Jazz Brunch.

Marketplace: Vendors will have merchandise for sale at Saturday’s Festival including jewelry, arts & crafts, books/CD’s, T-shirts, souvenir items and gifts.

The festival activities will also include the Annual Celebrity Golf Outing on Thursday, July 13th, a Meet & Greet Coffee and Brunch with Marcus Anderson on Friday, July 14th and a Meet & Greet Cigar Event with Jeff Bradshaw on Saturday, July 15th.

How will I know what time each performer will be on stage?

Is the event wheelchair-accessible?

All areas of the festival that are accessible to the public are wheelchair accessible. These include parking, seating, concessions and the marketplace.

Can I record the festival and/or bring recording devices?

No camcorders or other video recording devices are permitted.
