Is there a cost to attend?

General Admission to the Friday and Saturday Outdoor Day Festivals at National Harbor Spirit Park is $65.00 per person in advance. Tickets will be $75.00 per person on the day of the event. On-site tickets may be purchased using credit/debit cards only. No cash will be accepted to purchase festival tickets onsite.

VIP tent tickets to the Friday and Saturday Outdoor Day Festivals are $110.00 per person. Private 10 x10 tents for 8 people are available in the reserved VIP tent area. Each Private Tent includes 1 table, 8 chairs, complimentary refreshments, a cooler of ice, water, free parking and a one-liter bottle of Tito’s Homemade vodka.

General Reserved and Premium Tickets are also available for the Festival Kickoff Party at Newton White Mansion and the Festival Concert, Summer White Affair, Sunday Jazz Brunch and All-Star Finale at MGM Hotel & Casino. See the See the Festival Events page for more details.

All tickets are non-refundable.

What are the seating arrangements?

General Admission tickets to the Friday and Saturday Outdoor Day Festivals at National Harbor Spirit Park require that you bring your own lawn chairs. Please note that table-mounted umbrellas are not permitted. Chair mounted umbrellas are permissible, however umbrellas that obstruct the view of other Festival goers are prohibited and must be removed upon request of Festival management.

Reserved General and Premium Admission seating is available for the Festival Kickoff Party, the Summer White Affair, the Festival Concert, the Sunday Jazz Brunch and the All Star Finale. Please visit the Festival Events page for more details.

Can I bring coolers, food, or beverage?

You will NOT be allowed to bring coolers into the event. Patrons can purchase food and beverages from the many food vendors that will be on site. Also, National Harbor offers a variety of restaurants just steps away from the event venue. No alcoholic beverages can be brought on-site to any Festival events however beer and wine will be available for sale. Please note that ALL bags brought on to the festival grounds may be subject to search by Prince George’s County Police and National Harbor Security.

Can I bring my tent to the festival?

Each Private Tent includes 1 table, 8 chairs, complimentary refreshments, a cooler of ice, water, free parking and a one-liter bottle of Tito’s Homemade vodka.

Private Group Tents will be assigned on a first come, first come basis.

How much is parking?

Spirit Park Day Festival Parking – Lake Arbor Jazz will provide $10.00 discounted parking at Tanger Outlet and complimentary roundtrip shuttle service for the short trip to MGM Hotel & Casino and National Harbor Spirit Park. The shuttle service begins at 11:00 am and runs every 15 minutes. The last shuttle from Spirit Park leaves at 6:00 pm. Each parking ticket is valid for one (1) vehicle.

Parking is also available at the Fleet Street Parking garage just across the street from Spirit Park. The cost of parking at the Fleet Street Garage is $20.00 for up to 6 hours and $24.00 over 6 hours.

MGM Hotel & Casino Parking – MGM National Harbor offers free and available parking in the MGM Casino Parking Garage. Valet parking is available at the front of the Hotel for a charge of $35.00.

I'm coming from out of town. What hotels are close to the Festival grounds?

The host Hotel is MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino which will host the Friday Summer White Affair, the Saturday Festival Concert and the Sunday Jazz Brunch. The are several other hotels in the National Harbor resort area including the MGM Hotel & Casino, Gaylord Hotel, Hyatt Place, Westin Hotel, and AC Hotel.

Book your room at MGM Hotel & Casino, the Gaylord Hotel & Resort and the AC Marriott Hotel and get a special discounted room rate.

In addition to the music, what activities will be at the event?

Food & Beverages: A variety of food and beverages will be for sale during the Frida and Saturday Day Festivals.

Beverages: Both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, and specialty drinks) will be sold on site at all Festival events.

Marketplace: Vendors will have merchandise for sale at all MGM Hotel & Casino events including jewelry, arts & crafts, books/CD’s, T-shirts, souvenir items and gifts.

The festival activities will also include the Annual Golf Outing on Thursday, July 17th, Festival Kickoff Party on Thursday, July 17th, the Pre-Festival Concert on Friday, July 18th, the Summer White Affair, the Festival Concert on Saturday, July 19th and the Sunday Jazz Brunch on Sunday July 20th.

Other activities include morning Jazz & Coffee Jam Sessions on Friday, July 18th, and Saturday July 19th, as well as an Artist Meet & Greet on Friday, July 18th, and Saturday July 19th

What happens if it rains?

All events are indoors except for the Friday and Saturday Day Festivals at National Harbor Spirit Park. The Day Festivals are an outdoor event. All artists are scheduled to perform “rain, or shine” unless weather conditions make doing so unsafe. No refunds will be issued if inclement weather occurs.

Are umbrellas permitted at Spirit Park?

Small umbrellas and hats are permitted in case of showers. Festival Management reserves the right to ask attendees to lower or remove their umbrellas if they are obstructing the view of other Festival patrons.

Are pets allowed?

No pets are allowed other than service animals.

Are ATM’s available at the event?

There will be not ATMs at the Spirit Park Day Festival events. ATM’s are available at MGM Hotel & Casino.

How will I know what time each performer will be on stage?

Is the event wheelchair-accessible?

All areas of the festival that are accessible to the public are wheelchair accessible. These include parking, seating, concessions and the marketplace.
