Lake Arbor Jazz Day Festivals at Spirit
Dear Lake Arbor Jazz Family,
Due to forecasts of severe weather, including excessive heat and possible thunderstorms, the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival Committee has made the decision to activate our contingency plan to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, artists, and staff.
The Friday and Saturday Day Festivals, originally scheduled for Spirit Park, will now take place indoors just 2 blocks away at the beautiful Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center at National Harbor.
We are excited to continue the celebration in a climate-controlled, world-class venue that will allow us to maintain the same high-energy, smooth jazz experience you’ve come to love—while keeping everyone safe and comfortable.
Here’s what you need to know:
New Location:
Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center – Maryland Ballroom
201 Waterfront Street, Oxon Hill, MD 20745
Parking:
Parking is available in the Gaylord Hotel & Resort Parking Garage adjacent to the hotel, the Marina Garage or the St. George Garage directly across from the front entrance of the Gaylord Hotel on Waterfront Steet.
Dates & Times:
Dates and times remain the same for both Day Festival events
Friday, July 18th – 12pm – 4pm
- 1 pm – Phaze II featuring BK Jackson & Phillip “Doc” Martin
- 3 pm – Chuck Brown Band
·Saturday, July 19th – 12pm – 4 pm
- 1 pm – Julian Vaughn/Marqueal Jordan
- 3 pm – We Are One Experience – Tribute to Frankie Beverly
Your Tickets:
All previously purchased tickets will be honored—no action is required on your part. Leave your lawn chairs and umbrellas home! Theater seats will be provided for general admission tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
VIP Tent Tickets:
VIP tent ticket holders shall be redeemed for VIP Front of Stage tables of 8. VIP tent tickets will be entitled to:
- Admission to Gaylord Resort Maryland Room and all performances.
- Private or shared front of stage table for 8 including chairs
- Complimentary Tito’s Homemade Vodka giveaway
- Free parking (in Marina and St. George Garage only)
- VIP front of stage tables will be assigned first come, first served.
Vendors / Sponsors
All merchandise vendors slated to participate in the Day Festivals at Spirit Park will move to the Gaylord Hotel & Resort. Our vendor coordinator will be in touch with all the vendors affected by this move.
